1921 Adria Touring Car Advertisement The Adria was a sporty looking Automobile that sold for $1,495.00. Advertising claims include "Not Just Another Automobile" and "Years Ahead Mechanically". The Adria was an assembled five passenger Touring Car with a four cylinder Supreme engine rated at 39 horsepower. Only about 20 to 40 prototypes were built in 1921 and 1922. It had a wheelbase of 120 inches.
1922 Adria Touring Car Additional features included a Stromberg carburetor, Delco ignition, Bijur starting and lighting, Borg & Beck Clutch, Warren three speed transmission, Stewart Speedometer, Exide Battery, Wood or Wire wheels and 33 inch x 4 inch Goodrich tires. The Adria was only produced in 1920 and 1921. The Parenti Motors Corp. in near by Buffalo, NY brought forth legal action against The Adria Motor Car Corp. Seems that the Adria not only coveted but incorporated into its design a non-load carring axle that Parenti patented.
