The Advance Motor Car Corp.

In 1909 the Advance Motor Vehicle Co. of Miamisburg, Ohio took over the combined operations of The Hatfield Motor Car Co. and The Kauffman Buggy Company when they both got into financial troubles.

The Kauffman Buggy Company, provided bodies and chassis for the Hatfield automobiles.

Under the Advance name, the Advance Motor Car Corp. introduced a Model C four passenger roadster with an improved Hartfield four cylinder engine. This new Advance automobile was built on a 104 inch wheelbase. The Model C sold for $1,00.00.

Michelin invented pneumatic tires in 1895 and invented anti-skid tires in 1905. In 1906 Michelin invented the demountable rims. Chances are they were also used on the Advance automobiles.
