Advance features included a chassis fitted with very early internal expanding brakes on all four wheels. A four cylinder with 155 cubic inches used four overhead valves per cylinder and a single cam shaft. Aluminum alloy pistons were standard.
The Aland Motor Car Co.
Thr Aland was an American Automobile produced in Detroit in 1916 and 1917. Engineer, R. C. Aland formed The Aland Motor Car Co. and built a two passenger Roadster and a five passenger Touring Car that was years ahead of it's time.
The Aland wheel base was 122 inches, with Rudge-Whitworth wire wheels and cost $1,500.00
