When George B. Wheelock turned his attention to the manufacture of horseless carriages in 1907 he built a typical High Wheeler Buggy. One with 36 inch solid tires and another model with smaller pneumatic tires. Prices were $500.00 to $650.00. The engine used in the Anderson was an air cooled 14 horsepower two cylinder DeTamble engine. Wheelock began the manufacture of automobiles, he entered uncharted territory and a fiercely competitive market. Throughout 1908 and into 1910, business was generally favorable. However, within a few months he lost control of his company, which was placed into receivership.
