Advertising claims for The Barnes Mfg. Co. called the Barnes automobile the "Gentleman's Roadster". This American Automobile was produced in Sandusky, Ohio from 1907 to 1912.

The Barnes was equipped with an air cooled four cylinder engine and a three speed transmission with shaft drive.

The Barnes Mfg. Co. succeeded The Anhut Motor Car Co. (Detroit, Michigan 1909-1910) and produced both the Barnes and the Anhut.
