Although sales were low after World War I Buick managed to introduced 51 changes in design on the 1920 models. Changes that include improved head lights, head light switch, head light dimmer and new Willard storage battery just to name a few.
1920 Buick Four Door Sedan The following models were produced in 1921, a three passenger open car model 21-44, five passenger open car model 21-45, four passenger coupe model 21-46, five passenger sedan model 21-47, four passenger coupe model 21-48, seven passenger open car model 21-49 and a seven passenger sedan model 21-50.
Note the new Buick advertising jingle in their 1920s advertising, "When Better Automobiles Are Built, Buick Will Build Them." Other 1920s Buick advertising included "Buick stands first and last and always for reliability" and "No Car Is More Acceptable To Most People Than A Buick."
Buick prices in the early 1920s varied by engine type and body style. Four cylinder Buick automobiles included a $965.00 five passenger Touring Car, $955.00 two passenger Roadster, $405.00 five passenger Sedan and a $395.00 four passenger Coupe. Six cylinder Buick automobiles included a $1295.00 five passenger Touring Car, $1275.00 two passenger Roadster, $2095.00 five passenger Sedan, $1695.00 five passenger double service Sedan, $1565.00 seven passenger Touring Car, $2285.00 seven passenger Sedan, $1675.00 three passenger Sport Roadster, $1725.00 four passenger Sport Touring, $2235.00 Brougham Sedan and a $1395.00 four passenger Coupe.
1925 Buick Four Door Sedan Only six cylinder engines were equipped in each and every model of the 1925 Buick. The Standard Six models were rated at 21.6 horsepower and the larger Master Six models at 27.3 horsepower. Standard Six models had a 114 inch wheelbase, 31 x 5 inch wheels and a selective sliding transmission. Master Six models had a 128 inch wheelbase, 32 x 5.77 inch wheels and a three speed transmission.
In the late 1920s Buick Standard Six models included a five passenger Double Service Sedan priced at $1475.00, two passenger Roadster priced at $1150.00, two passenger enclosed Roadster priced at $1190.00, five passenger Touring Car priced at $1175.00, five passenger enclosed Touring Car priced at $1250.00, five passenger Sedan $1665.00 and a four passenger Coupe at $1565.00.
