The Car De Luxe Automobile & The Car De Luxe Motor Co.

Stock Holders were N. M. Kaufman, president, George M. Verity, Vice President and D. W. Kaufman Secretary Treasurer and General Manager. The Car De Luxe was seven passenger Touring Car with a powerful 50-60 horsepower four cylinder engine. Selling price in 1907 was $4,750. It had a new patented rear axle shown below in this 1907 magazine ad. Less than 100 Car De Luxe automobile were created, the company and all of its assets were sold to Everett-Metzger-Glanders in 1910.

In 1908 a Car De Luxe Limousine and Car De Luxe Landaulet was added to the line. Both automobiles were of high quality and selling for over $5,000.00. In 1909 models were equiped with 50-60 horsepower engines. New for 1909 was a seven passenger limousine that was priced at $6250.00.

Before the move to Detroit, Mi Car De Luxe Motor Car Co. president Nathan M. Kaufman merged his company with the C. H. Blomstrom who made the Blomstrom and Queen automobiles.
