The Ideal Cyclecar was built as a single passenger or two passenger model in tandem seating. Built in Buffalo by The Ideal Shop of Buffalo, NY. This cyclecar was equipped with a two cylinder Spacke engine rated at 10 horsepower, which drove the vehicle through a two speed and reverse planetary transmission and belts to the rear wheels.

According to the 1913 advertisement below the Ideal Cyclecar could be purchased as a kit for $300.00 from The Idea Shop. By 1914 the company was simply known as "The Ideal Shop" and was producing a complete Ideal cyclecar described above.

The 1913 Ideal Cyclecar purchased as a kit was practical, economical, simple in design. Complete plans could be purchased for only $2.00 that included blue prints, details, dimensions, written instructions, specification, pictures and parts list.
