The $395.00 Malcolm Cyclecar was produced by The Malcolm Jones Cyclecar Company of Detroit, MI from 1914 to 1915. The Stock holders included E. Malcolm Jones, C. H. Lawrence and Charles H. Bennett

The Malcolm a stream line body is used with its most noticeable features consisting of round eye like air vents on the side of the hood covered with wire screening and surrounded by nickel plated rims or frames. The Malcolm also had a single headlight inset in the hood above the radiator.

The first Malcolm was a 2 passenger and a 3 passenger model was also produced. It had 10 inches of clearance with the road, a 100 inch wheelbase and a 36 inch tread typical of a cycle car. The frame is made of wood sills and is tapered in at the front. The Malcolm was painted either black or gray with the trimmings in nickel.

The Malcolm was equipped with two cylinder two cycle engine set at an angle of 45 degrees and developed 10 to 15 horsepower. An option was a four cylinder engine that was rated at 18 horsepower. Engine features included two small cooling fans, one attached to each cylinder driven by one belt. A draft around the cylinders was further aided by a V shaped deflector set in front of the motor. The transmission is of the friction type with the friction wheel operating as the engine flywheel and belt driven to the rear wheels.
