1960 DeSoto sales were very low, just 26,000 units. Only the Fireflite and Adventurer were produced, each as a Hardtop Coupe, four door Sedan and a hardtop sedan. The most popular 1960 DeSoto was the Fireflite four door Sedan, shown below.

The Last DeSoto 1961 was the last year for DeSoto. If fact most production was done by December 1960 and only 3034 1961 DeSoto's were made. Only two body styles were produced, one was a two door hardtop and the other a four door Sedan in a nameless series. Features included a odd looking double grille and diagonally stacked quad headlights. It was a sad ending for a first class American Automobile that generated much business for Chrysler for more than three decades.
