The first model was a five passenger Touring Car equipped with a four-cylinder Wisconsin engine that developed 50 horsepower. It had electric self-starter and electric lights. Designs were also made for a six-cylinder, seven-passenger model. W. L. Rodgers was president and R. F. Ramsey is treasurer. Frank H. Morse, the developer of the Kissel Kars, was engineer, and Oscar J. Howick, former designer of the Lozier car, was designer. 1915 National Tire Advertisement The National Rubber Co. of Pottstown, PA produced "Red Wall" tires and special tubes for American Automobiles. The Red Wall tire was superior in design, construction and material workmanship. Sizes range from 28 inch to 38 inches and were priced at $28.00 to $58.00.
