By 1911 The Anderson Carriage Co. became The Anderson Electric Car Co. In the 1912 advertisement shown above eight different models were claimed and six different were listed including a $3,000.00 Model 42 Brougham 4 or 5 passenger, a $3,600.00 Model 37 Brougham 5 passenger, a $2,850.00 Model 35 Brougham 4 passenger, a $2,7000.00 Model 36 Brougham 2 to 4 passengers, a $2,300.00 2 passenger Business Roadster and a $2,300.00 Ladies Open Victoria 2 to 4 passengers.

1919 Detroit Electric - Detroit Electric Car Co.

In 1919 The Anderson Electric Car Co. was renamed The Detroit Electric Car Co. In the 1920s the old fashioned appearance of the Detroit Electric was modified by the introduction of false fronts. The Detroit Electric then had a more conventional look with bodies made by Willys-Overland. In the 1930s production was cut to individual orders. Only a handful of Detroit Electric's were produced annually after 1934.
