When orginazed in 1910 The Ideal Electric Co. factory was located at 44 W. Indiana St. with office and salesroom at 1328 Michigan Ave. Officers included Bruce Bordland president, Edwin W. Ryerson vice-president, Uri B Grannis Treasurer and C. J. Holdredge General manager.
1910 Ideal Electric The Ideal Electric Car was equipped with an Exide Battery, Westinghouse Battery and Westinghouse Controllers. Advertising claims included "Unquestionably The Greatest Electric Is The Ideal Electric" and "Greatest Because it is Absolutely the Finest Electric Vehicle in America."
1910 Barco Battery Co. Detroit, Michigan In 1910 the Barco Bear-Cat Storage Batteries were - "Strong as a Bear quick as a Cat" and "Is it not a fact that you automatically expect more power, quicker action and longer life in the Bear-Cat."
