The Elgin Automobile & The Elgin Automobile Company

The Elgin Automobile Company of Elgin, Illinois built this American Automobile called the Elgin in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The Elgin was also called "The Winner". The Winner name had no connection to Winner Motor Buggy produced in St. Louis, MO.

The Elgin was a simple Runabout with a gasoline engine although a few electric cars were made by The Elgin Automobile Company.
