The Empire Automobile & The Empire Motor Car Co.

Carl G. Fisher, Arthur C. Newby and James A. Allison in 1910 built the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and founder of the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race. The "Little Aristocrat" was a two passenger automobile with a 4 cylinder 20 horsepower engine that The Empire Motor Car Co. produced from 1909 to 1912. The cost of this small automobile was $850.00 in 1910 and by 1911 was up to $950.00.

In 1912 The Greenville Metal Products Co. of Greenville, PA also produced the Empire. After 1912 4 different models were produced, a five passenger touring car and fpur Passenger four door roadster with 6 cylinder engines.
