The Eshelman Sportabout Automobile & The Eshelman Co

The Eshelman cars were simple in construction with fiberglass bodies. From the engine their was a roller chain running back to the gear box. To go forward, the operator engaged the clutch with a lever. There wasn't a reverse gear but by pushing down on a reverse pedal the car did move in backward. Brakes consisted of pads rubbing on the tires opered by the reverse pedal. All car did not have any suspension or charging system for the battery.
