The Etnyre Motor Car Co.

Edward D. Etnyre designed and made products for use by others. These products were mainly farm equipment, horse-drawn water sprinkler, Street Flusher and the first Road Oiler. To do this he formed E. D. Etnyre & Co. in 1898.

In 1908 Edward D. Etnyre formed The Etnyre Motor Car Co. then designed and built an American Automobile in Oregon, Illinois.

Production ran from 1910 to 1911 and only a few Etnyre were built. These automobile were suposed to be modestly priced. However when the Etnyre arrived in 1910 the price was $3,500.00.

Seven passenger Touring Cars, five passenger closed coupe and a four passenger roadster were offered on a 128 inch wheelbase. The Etnyre was equipped with a four cylinder 471 cubic inch engine that developed 50 horsepower of the company's own design.
