This American Sports Car was first of the Ford GT40 and Porsche 904 copies of the 1960s. The Ferrer GT had a fiberglass body and was built on a standard Volkswagen Beetle chassis.

Frank Ferrer, a Miami, FL aircraft dealer, and his son were the manufacturers of this American Automobile. A complete car sold for $2950.00 in the 60s. As a kit using your VW the cost was $990.00. A deluxe kit sold for $1750.00.
