The 1955 Ford Sunliner produced by the Ford Motor Company shared the same basic body style as the Thunderbird. Features included Thunderbird inspired tailfins and two tone paint. The 1955 Ford Fairlane Sunliner was a 2 door convertible coupe priced at $2,224 and 50,000 were produced.
The Sunliner was usually equipped with the largest Ford engine, a 292 cubic inch V-8 that developed almost 200 horsepower. The Sunliner had a 115.5 wheelbase.
