In 1912 Henry Ford and The Ford Motor Co. restyled the Model T once again. The Appearance was similar to the 1911 Ford Model T cars.

Strictly a utilitarian vehicle, the 1912 Ford Model T took no beauty prizes and won no speed Contests.

Total production of all 1912 Ford Model T automobiles was 177, 834. Up nearly 100,000 units from 1911 production. Touring Cars, Torpedo Runabouts, Town Cars and a few 2 passenger Coupes were made.

The 1912 Ford Model T Touring Car was supplied with four doors that were removable and enclosed the front compartment. It was equipped with a four cylinder engine that had a bore of 3 3/4 inches, stroke of 4 inches and a displacement of 176.7 cubic inches. This engine was rated at 22 horsepower. Nearly 51,000 1912 Ford Model T Touring Cars were produced at a cost of only $690.00.

The 1912 Ford Model T Torpedo Runabout was based on the standard Runabout and the Open Runabout was discontinued. The rear fenders were curved and the front fenders were standard. The Torpedo Runabout was equipped with the same 4 cylinder engine as the Touring Car including the planetary 2 speed transmission, disc clutch, torque tube drive and a beveled rear axle.

The Torpedo Runabout and Commercial Roadster sold for $590.00. About 25,00 units were produced. The wheel base on all 1912 Ford Model T's were 100 inches with an overall length of 10 feet 8 inches and the tread was 56 inches. 30 inch x 3 wheels and tires were used on the front and 30 x 3 1/2 inch used in the rear.

A 1912 Ford 7 passenger Town Car sold for $900.00 and the Coupes sold for $840.00 while the Delivery Car sold for $$700.00. Production of the Town Car was 802 units and 1,845 units on the Delivery Car. 1912 Model T's were painted dark blue and black. Standard Model T's were equipped with three oil lamps, windshield, headlamps, tops, horn and speedometers. The 1913 Ford Model T followed the 1911 Fords.
