The New 6 cylinder Ford Special, Deluxe and Super Deluxe were designated as the Model 1GA. The 90 horsepower V-8 equipped Special, Deluxe and Super Deluxe were designated as the Model 11A. Styling was fresh with wider front fenders, headlights were further apart, a bigger front grille with tall center section of vertical bars flanked by a smaller grille on each side. 41 Fords also had larger rear fenders and a more stylish roofline. Interiors dimensions were substantially increased.
1941 Ford Super Deluxe Advertisement 1941 Ford Super Deluxe features included bright trim on the windshield, running boards, front and rear fenders, rear and side windows, wheel trimmings and chrome grille sections. 41 Ford Super Deluxe bumpers had ridges along their bottom edge. Super Deluxe script was place on the inboard position of the driver side front fender.
1941 Ford Super Deluxe Coupe Additional features were - trunk light, license plate guard, glove box mounted clock, twin visors, twin windshield wipers, gray stripes on the wheels and special dash trim. Seven different body styles were offered in Super Deluxe - Convertible, 3 passenger Coupe, 4 passenger Coupe, 6 passenger Coupe Sedan, Tudor, Fordor and Station Wagon.
1941 Ford Deluxe Tudor 1941 Ford Deluxe body style features included a lack of some items that were special features of the 41 Ford Super Deluxe models. Missing on Deluxe body styles were trunk light, glove box clock, wheel trim rings and license plate guard. The chrome bumper was smooth lacking the ridge along the bottom edge. A plastic Kelobra grain dash was used on the Super Deluxe. A Deluxe dash was finished in a Ebony grain. Deluxe features included grove box lock, dual wipers, dual sun visors and the wheels were painted black on all Deluxe body styles. Only the center grille was chrome plated on Deluxe body styles. The outside portion of the three piece grille was painted the same as the body color. Five different body styles were offered in Deluxe - 3 passenger Coupe, 4 passenger Coupe, Tudor, Fordor and a Station Wagon. Prices range from $730.00 for a Coupe to $960.00 for a Station Wagon.
1941 Ford Standard Fordor 1941 Ford Standard body style features included a black windshield diver instead of chrome, one tail light, one horn, one windshield wiper and one sun visor. Lacking from Standard body style interiors were arm rest, dome light, cigarette lighter and glove box lights. Three Standard body styles were produced - Coupe, Tudor and Fordor and all three were offered only in Harbor gray paint. Either the new six or V-8 engine were used on Standard body styles.
1941 Ford Convertible Super Deluxe All 1941 Ford body styles were equipped with either a 90 horsepower 226 cubic inch V-8 or a new 6 cylinder engine. 6 cylinder engine features were cast iron block, L-head, 225 cubic inches rated at 85 horsepower. The 1942 Ford Model 2GA and 21A Super Deluxe, Deluxe and Special cars and trucks followed the 1941 Fords.
