Gove trucks were built from 1920 to 1922 by The Gove Motor Truck Co. of Detroit, Michigan. In 1921 The Gove Motor Truck Co. built an American Automobile in small numbers.

The Gove prototypes was a small automobile with a air cooled four cylinder engine.

The Sheridan Commercial Car Co. factories were located in Harvey, Illinois and their General Sales office in Chicago. Specifications included a 1,000 pound capacity, multiple disc clutch, water cooled engine, selective type transmission with three speeds forward and reverse, Bosch Magneto, wire or wood wheels and storm curtains.
