The Hackett was built as a $888.00 five passenger Touring Car and a $888.00 four passenger Roadster. The Touring Car had a wheelbase of 112 inches. The body color was Packard blue with ivory wheels.
1917 Hackett Touring Car The Hackett was equipped with a water cooled four cylinder G. B. & S. engine that was rated at 22.5 horsepower. The bore was 3 1/4 inches and the stroke was 4 1/2 inches. It had a three speed transmission 3 forward and 1 reverse. The rear axle was three-quarters floating.
1916 Hackett Factory Features included worm and nut steering, six volt system, electric lights, 32 x 3 1/2 inch front and rear tires on wood wheels. Additional features were top, top hood, windshield, speedometer, ammeter, tire pump, electric horn and demountable rims.
Hackett Assembly Factory In 1918 The Hackett Motor Car Co. was reorganization into The Lorraine Motors Corporation. Operations were then transferred to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where the Hackett was continued as the Lorraine.
