The Hay Berg Motor Car Co.

The Hay Berg Motor Car Co. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin produced an American Automobile called the Hay Berg beginning in 1907.

Robert G. Hayssen and E. M. Sternberg organized The Hay Berg Motor Car Company. The name Hay Berg was formed by using the first three letters in "Hayssen" and the last four letters in "Sternberg".

The Hay Berg Motor Car Co. was going to produce several different models of the Hay Berg automobile. However, only reports of a $2,000.00 2-3 seat Roadster was found. The body was all wood and hand made by The Hay Berg Motor Car Co.

Features included a 110 inch wheelbase, a tread of 56 inches, 34 inch x 4 inch wheels and tires on the rear, 34 inch x 3 1/2 inch wheels and tires on the front, 24 gallon fuel tank, 5 lamps, horn and tools.

The Hay Berg Motor Car Co. was equipped with a Carrico four cylinder four cycle air cooled engine that developed 20 horsepower. The Hay Berg had three speeds forward and reverse sliding gear transmission with shaft drive.
