The Hub Motor Exchange was a dealership in Boston when they purchased the factory of the defunct Crest Manufacturing Company in Dorchester, Massachusetts. In 1906 they produced a small Runabout in Dorchester, MA called the
Very few Dorchester were sold and they were not very popular. So in 1907 The Hub Motor Exchange produced a new Runabout and introduced it under it's own name, Hub
The new Hub was equipped with a single cylinder air cooled engine that was rated at 10 horsepower. A two speed planetary transmission and shaft drive were used. The new $500.00 Hub only lasted one year, 1907. Below is an image of the Dorchester.
