1949 IMP Midget Car In 1947 The Midget car market was dominated by Crosley, Playboy and Bobbi-car. The Playboy was produced by The Playboy Motor Car Mfg. Co. of Buffalo, NY and the Bobbi-car was made in Birmingham, AL by the Bobbi-car Motor Car Corp. All three Midget cars were equipped with four cylinder engines.
