1907 Imperial Touring Car The price of the Touring Car above was $2,650.00 with four bucket seats and equipped with a folding rumble seat shown below $2,500.00. Advertising claimed that the price included gas lamps, generator, horn and tools. Additional selling point in Imperial advertising included the phrase "The Car With The Straight Line Drive."
1908 Imperial Roadster Shown above and below is a 1908 and 1909 Imperial Roadster advertisement. The car with the straight line drive. 30-35 horsepower, 36 inch wheels and tires, selective transmission, Elsemann magneto, double drop frame. Price $2500.00 with gas lamps, generator, horn, tools,etc.
1909 Imperial Roadster The name Imperial was used by several American Automobile manufacturers. In 1903 and 1904 an Imperial was produced by the Rodgers & Co. in Columbus, Ohio. In 1906 and 1907 another Imperial was built in Williamsport, PA by The Imperial Motor Car Co. Another Imperial was produced by The Imperial Automobile Co. from 1907 to 1916 in Jackson, Michigan. Chrysler started in 1926 and the Chrysler Imperial became a distinct make in 1955 and continued till 1975.
