In the world of motorcycles the name Indian stands out second only to Harley-Davidson as the two wheeling icon of the twentieth century. However, The Indian Motorcycle Co. not only made American Motorcycles in Springfield, MA but in 1928 and 1929 they attempted to get into the American Automobile market. Very few Roadsters, a Coupe and Touring Cars were constructed by The Indian Motorcycle Co.
