In 1905 J. S. Leggett relocated his automobile manufacturing to Seneca Falls, NY and reorginized The J. S. Leggett Mfg. Co. into The Iroquois Motor Car Co. The Iroquois was produced there from 1905 to 1908. The Iroquois was a small car of advance design. In 1903, carriage and automobile body builder J. S. Leggett built the Iroquois equipped with a four cylinder water cooled engine rated at 15 horsepower. Runabout and tonneau models were built up to 1904 at Syracuse, NY.
1906 Iroquois Five Passenger Touring Car In 1906 a five passenger Model D Iroquois Touring Car was priced at $2500.00. This American Automobile was equipped with a four cylinder water cooled engine rated at 25-30 horsepower. In addition the car had a sliding gear transmission, was shaft driven and a 100 inch wheelbase. For $2,000.00 you could have a side entrance Iroquois Model C with a detachable tonneau. The four cylinder was rated at 18-20 horsepower. Canopy and folding tops were cost extra.
