The Jaxon was an American Automobile built by The Jackson Automobile Co. in Jackson, Michigan in 1903. 1903 was the only year for this gasoline Car and the Jaxon Steam Car simultaneously built that same year.

The Jaxon gasoline automobile and the Jaxon Steam Car lasted only about one year.

Sales of the Jaxon gasoline models were good so the firm stayed in business manufacturing gasoline automobiles. In 1904 the name was changed to Jackson. Production of the Jackson automobile lasted up to 1923.

The 1903 Jaxon was called a High Wheeler, Runabout or Surry in the early 1900s and prices ranged from $800.00 to $975.00. The Jaxon was equipped with a single cylinder engine rated at 6 horsepower. A folding seat shown above made room for four passengers. Steering was by tiller.
