The Jones-Corbin Automobile & The Jones-Corbin Automobile Co.

The 1903 Jones-Corbin Co. Runabout was equipped with a single cylinder water cooled DeDion engine rated at 8 horsepower. The Jones-Corbin Touring Cars were equipped with three different engines.  Two were of DeDion design. One was a single cylinder rated at 9 horsepower. The other was a two cylinder 16 horsepower engine. The big four cylinder engine was produced by J. C. Motors and rated at 22 1/2 horsepower.

1903 Jones-Corbin Touring Car

Jones-Corbin Touring Cars sold for $1,200.00 for the 9 HP, $1,500.00 for 16 HP and $1,800.00 for the four cylinder 22 1/2 HP. Other Touring car features included improved water cooling, automatic oiling, magneto ignition, automatic governor on spark, lock steering, and a special three speed transmission.

This 1904 Jones-Corbin Runabout featured above was slightly higher in price at $1,280.00 and was advertised as "Designed and Built for City and Country Use!" and "The Appearance and All Desirable Features of a High Priced Touring Car!"
