1907 Touring Car The first Klink automobiles were available as a 108 inch wheelbase five passenger Touring Car or two passenger Roadster with a standard price of $2,000.00. By 1907 the price was down to $1,800.00 and a larger seven passenger Touring Car was offered. The Klink automobiles were equipped with four cylinder engines of 30 horsepower or 40 horsepower both with a three speed sliding gear transmission and shaft drive. 1915 Standard Oil This Standard Oil Company of New York advertisement featured "Polarine Oil". The standard oil for all motor cars claimed this 1915 advertisement. The Standard Oil Company also sold "Socony" gasoline. They claimed "The red, white and blue Socony sign points the way to the best motor oil, the most reliable gasoline and a dependable service station.
