The Maplebay Mfg. Co.

The Maplebay Windstacker Co. was established in 1891 by President Charles Loring, Vice-President L. Ellington and J. J. Flynn was Secretary and Treasurer. This company produced Wind Stackers, Box Manure Spreaders, Threshers, Cistern Tanks, Grain Cleaners, Graders, Tire Protectors and Chrome Leather Halters.

It was reported in 1907 by the Crookston Daily Times that the Maplebay-Windstacker Co. had produced an American Automobile called the Maplebay and a new company called The Maplebay Mfg. Co. will be formed. Very few of the $1,400.00 Maplebay automobiles were produced.

The 1908 Maplebay Runabout was equipped with a Reeves four cylinder air cooled engine that was rated at 22 horsepower. It had a friction transmission.
