The 1900 Meteor was a light Runabout and equipped with an engine under the hood and a transmission designed by Hinsdale Smith. The Hess-Bright Manufacturing Co. produced high tension magneto's and Hess-Bright ball bearings.  Production plant was located in Philadelphia, PA. This advertisement claims that The Hess-Bright High Tension Magneto "assures the best possible engine performance if other conditions are right."
