1917 Olympian Touring Car The Olympian was equipped with a water cooled four cylinder engine of its own make. A three speed transmission with shaft drive rounded out the final drive. In 1917 the Touring Car was called the Tourist and the Roadster was called the Gypsy. All Olympian automobiles sold for $965.00.
1917 Olympian Touring Car The 1918 Olympian Four Cylinder Touring Car shown below was equipped with a larger four cylinder engine and priced at $1,085.00. Advertising claimed it was the "One Hundred Percent Car".
1918 Olympian Four Cylinder Touring Car Friend Motors Co. Inc. succeeded the Olympian Motors Co. of Pontiac, Michigan on January 1, 1920. The change representing the taking over of the Olympian Motors Co. by Otis C. Friend, a former high official with General Motors.
