The Owen-Thomas Motor Car Co. of Janesville, WI was an American Automobile company that operated from 1907 to 1910. Owner was Willie Owen Thomas. This automobile was very unusual in that it was powered by a very large 6 cylinder engine of 429 cubic inches with a crankshaft that ran in 4 large ball bearings. Addition ball bearings were used in the fan shaft, transmission and drive train.

In 1910 the Corliss Motor Company of Corliss, Wisconsin purchased the Owen-Thomas Motor Car Co. of Janesville, WI. That same year it moved all the unfinished automobiles, parts and machinery into the Wisconsin Engine Company factory in Corliss, Wisconsin.
