1920 Parenti Touring Car Two different Parenti were produced. A 5 passenger Parenti Touring car with a 123 inch wheelbase that was priced at $2,000.00. In addition a 5 passenger Sedan also with a 123 inch wheelbase that was priced at $3,000.00. Later a town car and a limousine were added to the line up. The Parenti was powered by a eight cylinder air cooled engine of their own design. In 1922 a water cooled Falls Six cylinder was used.
1920 Parenti Sedan Advertising claimed that the Parenti was "An Innovation In Motor Car Construction" and that it would "Set New Standards in Auto Building". The Parenti also claimed that it elimitated almost all "Unsprung Weight". Unsprung weight is that portion of a vehicle that is not supported by the suspension and is the most susceptible to road shock and cornering forces. An example would be wheels, tires and brakes. Parenti's unique construction eliminted most of the unsprung weight. Instead of assembling the body on a steel chassis the Parenti body and frame formed as one unit which was constructed on plywood. The body was then suspended between special springs in the front and rear.
1921 Parenti Touring Car In 1923 The Parenti Motors Corporation went into receivership. Despite claims of thousands of Parenti's sold actual production was limited.
