1904 Regas Touring Car The Regas was equipped with air cooled two Cyclinder engines rated at 12 horsepower or air cooled four cylinder engines that developed 20 horsepower. The bore was 4 1/2 inches and the stroke was 5 inches. The air cooling feature was more effective than any other engine of the time. Projecting from each cylinder are 172 perforated copper tubes 1 1/2 inch long by 1/2 inch in diameter. The up right cylinders were mounted in set V-shape, giving ample room for air to circulate.
1904 Regas Model B Four Passenger Side Entrance Tonneau With the Regas patented tonneau body, entrance was obtained by simply tipping forward either one of the individual from seats. This unique feature allowed anyone large or small to enter the Tonneau comfortably from either side of the automobile. With the Tonneau removed as shown below the Model B Regas is a runabout. Learn more about the Regas Model B Tonneau by reading their 1904 Sales Brochure.
