The $1,500.00 1904 Santos-Dumont was equipped with a double cylinder water cooled horizontal opposed engine mounted on frame under front seats and developed 14 horsepower. Other features included 4 or 5 passengers, weight 1,850 pounds, standard tread, 82 inch wheelbase, 30 inch artillery wheels and 3 1/2 inch tires. In late 1904 the Santos-Dumont was known as The Dumont. It was priced at $2,000 and known as "The Flying Automobile".
