1909 Standard Touring Car - Miniature Tonneau - Roadster The 1909 Standard Six was built as a Touring Car, Miniature Tonneau and a Roadster. All three were priced at $3,000.00. Features included a six cylinder engine that was rated at 50 horsepower, three speed transmission, shaft drive, 124 inch wheelbase, dual system ignition Remy High-Tension Magneto and could obtain speeds of 65 miles per hour.
1910 Standard Touring Car - Tonneau - Roadster - Limousine The next year the same $3,000.00 Touring Car, Miniature Tonneau and Roadster was produced by St. Louis Car Co. In addition a $4,000.00 Luxurious Limousine was made. The same 54 horsepower six cylinder was used. The St. Louis Car Co. was refinanced in 1911 with $6 million capital and did not re-enter the American Automobile business. The company continued to manufacture streetcars and railroad passenger cars for many years.
