The Universal Automobile & The Universal Motor Company

The Universal Motor Company was formed in 1914 when the Croxton automobile closed its factory in Washington, PA. The closing provided a factory for a new American Automobile called The Universal Light Car. The Universal was a two passenger roadster with a water cooled four cylinder engine that produced 18 horsepower. Transmission was a three speed and had shaft drive. Price at $475.00 and very few were made.
