The Wahl Motor Car Company
Detroit, Michigan

"Attention Automobile Dealers! Sell This Car With Your Own Trademark On The Radiator" claimed the Wahl Motor Car Co. of Detroit, Michigan.

The Wahl was an American Automobile and the manufacturers had the idea that they could sell it through several sales agencies, by permitting the car to carry different name plates. This practice was common with other products but not in the American Automobile field.

"Why Not Go Into The Automobile Business?" declared this 1913 Wahl Motor Sales Company advertisement. "With your own car bearing your own name and with your own trademark on the radiator" large automobile dealers in cities all across the United States offered their own assembled car made by The Wahl Motor Car Company.

1913 Wahl specifications included a four cylinder engine that developed 25 horsepower, 9 inch Raybestos clutch, four speed transmission, Bosch ignition, worm and gear steering, semi-floating rear axle, center controls, Holley "H" carburetor, 10 inch brakes, 106 wheelbase, artillery type wheels, 32 inch x 3 1/2 inch tires, mohair top, curtains, windshield, speedometer, horn and tools. A two passenger Roadster and a five passenger Touring Car was offered in blue-black and nickel trim. The principal stockholders of The Wahl Motor Car Company were A. M. Dodge and W. J. Hickesch.
