A Rutenber six cylinder engine rated at 45 horsepower was used in the Waltham, the same engine used in the Metz Master Six. Features of the Waltham included a three speed sliding gear Warner or Brown-Lipe transmission, Stromberg carbureter, Bosch starting, Bosch lighting, Bosch ignition, Warner gearset, Borg and Beck clutch and a semi-floating Timken rear axle.
