1905 Waterloo The features of the Waterloo Phaeton shown above included a three cylinder engine with a 4 1/2 inch bore x 4 1/2 inch stroke that developed 10-12 horsepower, planetary transmission, tiller steering, magneto, chain drive, wood and iron frame, automatic carburetor, single lever controls, oil lamps, horn and tools. On the other hand features of the 1905 Waterloo Tonneau included a larger three cylinder engine that developed 12-15 horsepower, planetary transmission, magneto, chain drive, 84 inch wheelbase, wheel steering, automatic carburetor, single lever controls, oil lamps, horn and tools.
Waterloo Gasoline Engine Co. The plants of the Waterloo Gasoline Engine Co. and the Davis Gasoline Engine Works, at Waterloo, Iowa, were consolidated under the name of the Waterloo Motor Works to produce the Waterloo automobile.
