The W. L. Casaday Mfg. Co.

The W. S. Casaday Manufacturing Company of South Bend, Indiana, produced commercial vehicles under the Casaday name as well as a passenger car called the Williams.

The Williams was a five passenger Touring Car produced in 1905 only. This car had an early example of a permanent windshield. One unusual feature of the Williams automobile was a circular hood with a spare tire being mounted on the front.

The Williams was equipped with a air cooled four cylinder engine that developed 25 horsepower. William Lewis Casaday (1844-1910) was founder of the South Bend Chilled Plow Company and holder of some 200 patents for various kinds of machinery.
