1905 Worthington Bollee The first Bollee was a four-wheel car with independent suspension built in 1903 and it was very similar to the Worthington Bollee featured above. It was available in a 28 or 45 horsepower four cylinder engine. 28 horsepower engines were shipped in cars sent to U.S. from France.
1899 Bollee The first gasoline powered Bollie was a two passenger tricycle built in France by Leon Bollie. It had a three cylinder three horsepower engine. His father built steam cars as early as 1873 in France.
