In 1916 The Saginaw Motor Car Co. produced an American Automobile called the Yale. The Yale appeared as an ivory and black 126 inch wheelbase seven passenger Touring Car and a two passenger Roadster. Both automobile were priced in $1500.00 range.
The Yale was equipped with a Perkins eight cylinder engine.

The Speedster shown above were equipped with two extra seats in the rear. Very unusual for a speedster. The Yale eight engine had very little if any competition in its field.

The above 1917 Yale Phaeton was a seven passenger Touring Car also equipped with the Yale eight. Priced at $1,500 a permanent top was $50.00 extra and wire wheels were $100.00 extra.
