The Single Center Buggy Co.

The Single Center Buggy Co. of Evansville, IN manufactured an American Automobile called the Zentmobile. The Zentmobile was named after Schuyler W. Zent of Marion, Ohio where he made his first automobile. However, the production models were built by The Single Center Buggy Co. of Evansville, IN. A two passenger Roadster and a four passenger Tonneau Touring Car were produced.

The Zentmobile was powered by a single cylinder eight horsepower horizontal type gasoline engine and was located in the rear of the frame. The engine was fitted with jump spark ignition. The transmission was of the sun and planet type with two forward gears and a reverse. Price without tonneau $950.00.

Production of the Zentmobile stopped when Schuyler W. Zent moved his factory to Bellefontaine, Ohio and formed The Zent Automobile Mfg. Co. and produced the Zent there from 1903 to 1907.
