American Motors Corporation
American Motors Corporation was formed with the merger of Nash-Kelvinator and Hudson.
The Rambler was a successful compact American Automobile in the early 1950s and became a separate make after introducing larger 4 door models for 1955 and new styling in 1956 that included tail fins. A long line of deluxe, super and custom cars were produced by the American Motors Corporation and they were equipped with 6 cylinder and V-8 engines.
