Other 1935 Ford changes included new rounded fenders and twin tail lights. The windshield was much more sharply sloped and for the first time Ford offered a built in trunk on their 2 and 4 door body styles. No longer fitted were the old cowl lamps and external horns made their final appearance on the 1935 Ford.
1935 Ford Deluxe Roadster
In 1935 a two door two passenger Ford Deluxe Roadster cost $550.00. Almost 5,000 were produced. They were equipped with the Ford V-8. Similar to the Roadster was the 1935 Ford Cabriolet which was priced at $625.00 and 17,000 were produced.
1935 Ford Coupe
Ford Coupes were produced with 3 different looks. Deluxe 2 passenger 3 window Coupes were priced at $2647.00. A 5 window 2 passenger Coupe also made in Standard and Deluxe body styles were priced at $2620.00. About 140,000 Ford Coupes were produced.
1935 Ford Convertible
Added to the 1935 Ford body style line up was a Convertible Sedan. The new Ford Convertible was priced at $750.00 and 4234 were made. No longer available was the Victoria. Options on all 1935 Fords included radio, heater, clock, cigar lighter, whitewall tires and a Greyhound radiator ornament.
1935 Ford Tudor Sedan
Over 4 1/2 million 1935 Ford Tudors were produced. A 2 door 4 passenger Standard Tudor cost $510.00 in 1935 and a Deluxe Tudor cost $595.00. The 1935 Ford Tudor was equipped with 221 cubic inch V-8's rated at 80 horsepower.
1935 Ford Fordor Sedan
1935 Ford 4 door 4 passenger Fordor production was set at 120,000. The Standard Fordor sold for $575.00 and the Deluxe Fordor sold for $635.00. Sliding gear 3 speed transmissions were equipped in the 34 Ford's. Final drive was shaft drive and a 3/4 inch floating rear axle to 16 inch wheels and tires. The 1936 Ford Model 68 cars and trucks followed the 1935 Fords.
